NDI Release Notes

NDI Release 2.1.0 - Release Notes

Summary of Changes

  • Changed so that application display language and manifest language can be set in User interface language in Settings.
  • Changed the conditions to display the update icon () on the Development Environment page. Previously, the notification was issued for major, minor, and patch version updates, but now it is only issued for patch version updates.
  • Changed the Nintendo Switch platform selection options to include NXNintendo Switch, and Switch. In NDICmd, these options can be used interchangeably as platform names in commands and are case sensitive.
  • Changed the Define New Environment screen UI.
  • Updated Bundle Selection screen. When a bundle is selected, the software to be installed is immediately reflected in Installation Summary

  • Expanded Toolset feature. The development environment may now be based on Documentation or other specific software packages. The Standard option functions as before. As a result, the Foundation selection has been removed.
  • The environment list on the "Dev Environments" screen is sorted by environment creation date, from the most recently created to the oldest created.

Notes

  • When using packages in the cache to create an environment, if packages from a Toolset other than "Standard" are included, add the manifest.xml file from the server to the cache.
