class ErrorToleranceFunction : public nn::nex::RootObject
Manages the error tolerance parameter used for dead reckoning.
Use the DataSet::GetErrorToleranceFunction
function to get the parameters for each dataset.
Dead reckoning is a feature that interpolates other player's movements, including their position and orientation, to make them appear more natural. You can enable dead reckoning by specifying extrapolation_filter
for datasets defined in the DDL file.
For more information, see the programming manual.
SetParameters
|
Sets parameters used to calculate the error tolerance. | |
---|---|---|
SetDefaultDistance
|
Sets the default distance when using a distance-based extrapolation error. Used during dead reckoning. | |
SetConstantError
|
Sets a fixed error tolerance regardless of the distance. | |
SetLinearError
|
Sets parameters used to determine the error tolerance using a linear function operating on the error tolerance and distance. | |
SetQuadraticError
|
Sets parameters used to determine the error tolerance using a quadratic (non-linear) function operating on the error tolerance and distance. |
