Readme for TWL Battery Icon Sample 1.0

Introduction

This package consists of a set of the Remaining Battery Power icons used in the DSi Menu, extracted for use in applications.

Specifically, the following sample data is included in NITRO-CHARACTER format.

White background Remaining Battery Power icon (msk_launcher_U.*)
This is the Remaining Battery Power icon with a white background, used in the DSi Menu Launcher screen.
Black background Remaining Battery Power icon (sm_setting_U_common.*)
This is the Remaining Battery Power icon with a black background, used in the DSi Menu System Settings screen.

Note: Displaying the Remaining Battery Power icon in applications is not required. If you do display it, you are not required to use the sample data included in this package.

Notes

Precautions for use of this package are given below.

Use this data without modifying it.
While some alteration of the hues assigned to each remaining level of battery power is acceptable, the colors should remain within a range where any user can recognize them as blue, red and orange.
Display of the Remaining Battery Power icons is recommended to conform to the "DSi Menu Specifications for Remaining Battery Power Display" listed below. (Note that this is not a requirement.)

About Charging

If charging completes while the system power is OFF, the recharge indicator LED turns off. However, if the system power is ON, the recharge indicator LED will not turn off even if charging has been completed. Therefore, users will not know whether charging is complete. Interrupts will not occur even if charging has completed, so it is not possible for the application to detect that charging has been completed either.
